Green House Gases: How Many Pounds Of Co2 Are Emitted By Passenger Jet Planes And Military Jets?

Several sites I visited reported that in a gas engine 19 pounds of carbon dioxide were released for every pound of gasoline burned. Since CO2 does not rise in the atmosphere, and it is about the same weight as Nitrogen, it just floats around. Therefore, it would seem that a major source of atmospheric heating is from high altitude commercial and military jet plane exhaust emissions in the upper atmosphere. Does anyone know of a way in which total aviation gas purchases by commercial airlines can be captured as data input for calculations? Does anyone know the typical fuel consumption of various common types of commercial and military jet aircraft?

Should Mac And At&t Go Before The Ipcc And Explain How Many Forests They Cut Down For Iphone Today?

Evidently the smallest number of pages you get in your first iPhone bill is 40… and it goes up from there to about 300.
So can we all just give a big thank you to iPhone for contributing to Global Warming on such a large scale…
Lets all tell them how much we appreciate it while we’re doing everything we can to conserve resources and use less fossil fuel…

How Many Members Are There Of The Ipcc (un Intergovernmental Panel On Climate Change)?

The IPCC is an apolitical organisation that exists to collate, co-ordinate and commission the work of climate scientists and to disseminate the information – primarily in the form of regular reports and assessment reports. The information is shared between the countries that are party to the UNFCCC.
As I’m not entirely sure what you’re askling I’ll provide 3 answers.
The IPCC has 2 ‘members’ in so much as it’s a configuration of the United Nations Environmental Programme and the World Meteorological Organisation.
There are 180 countries and states that are party to the UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change), this represents almost every country and state in the world.
Whilst the IPCC doesn’t specifically have it’s own climate scientists, it has drawn on the work of over 2,500 such scientists from over 30 countries.

How Many Ipcc Scientists And Bureaucrats Lose Their Jobs If Global Warming “ain’t So Bad?”?

Really – if it turns out in 25 years that the Globe has not Warmed Significantly, and that it does, in fact, start to cool or seem stable – how many people does that put out of work?
And how does the fact that their jobs depend on banging the Global Warming drum and having people pay attention affect their bias?

How Many Scientists Signed The Ipcc Report? Please Include A Reference If Possible.?

I can’t actually find the number from a credible source. I have a project due at the college I attend, and I decided to do an unbiased look at global warming (man-made vs. natural). I’m hoping to compare the amount of scientists who signed this report vs. skeptic reports, just to show that there is credibility on both sides.
